One of my first shots of DSLR

One of the first shots taken when I first had my DSLR last 2008. It was a Canon 1000D and these two types of boats which were an old type dhow and a modern yacht were taken from Dubai Creek on our way to have Christmas lunch with friends at Nando's in Deira. We took the boat ride and avoided the traffic so we got there in earlier plus the refreshing view of the creek :)

Food and Company

I love gatherings, specially with friends. Pair it up with great food and great conversations and it becomes a match made in heaven.. I miss those days when we lived in Dubai and there's always a house where you can go to hang out and people would just come and bring food and stay up talking till wee hours of the night - or until there's still food to munch. Oh the good old days!

A box of chocolates always always makes my heart melt. I gave this box to the guy who always melts my heart on Christmas last 2008. He shared of course.

Hor Al Anz, Deira

Memories of early morning walks to the bus stop on my way to work while passing by a local mosque and some neighboring shops in Hor al Anz Dubai. Cold mornings are not too far away now..

Photo effects

Photo effects are sometimes dissed by other photographers, I think they can be fun sometimes. We went to Cinnabon and I had to take a picture of P's hot chocolate with my new Lemeleme App. Doesn't it look classic?

Nowhere else I'd rather be.

I'm jumping back to the blog wagon! So I haven't uploaded any other photo in this blog since P & I had our baby daughter. Ok, so maybe even before that. But I have to say that I thought I'd feel like I missed out by not spending time blogging but honestly the past couple of months that I've spent taking care of my family gave me a whole new direction to where I want this blog to be all about. They are so precious there is no where on earth I would rather be than beside them both..
